The house should just work
Mesh Wi-Fi, printers, parental controls, and the pile of gear that accumulated since 2012.
Homes here are not apartments with one ISP box. They are two stories, a shop, and a metal roof. We come on-site for Wi-Fi and the house network. A laptop that needs the bench is drop-off or paid pickup — not a living-room repair call.
The fastest Wi-Fi fix in a Paintsville house is not a new password
One router in the living room cannot punch through a two-story house and a metal-roof shop. Here is what actually works in Eastern Kentucky homes.
Starlink, rural fiber, and a mesh that actually works in Eastern Kentucky
The ISP changed. The house did not. How to make Starlink, cable, and fiber play nice with the network you already paid for.
On-site computer repair vs. remote support: when we actually drive
Software is remote. Home PCs drop off or we pick up for a fee. We drive for office networks and Wi-Fi — not kitchen-table repair.
Next step
Remote for software. Drop-off or paid pickup for home PCs. On-site for office networks, Wi-Fi, and closets.
Broken computer? Drop off in Paintsville or we pick it up.
