On-site computer repair vs. remote support: when we actually drive

Most tickets die in a remote session. Some need a driveway. Here is how Paint Creek decides, so you are not paying for a trip you did not need.

Remote is faster when the problem is software

Password, Outlook, printer queue, “Windows update ruined Friday” — those are remote jobs. You watch the session. You keep the passwords.

If someone asks you to put the tower in the car and hope, they are optimizing their counter, not your afternoon.

We drive when physics is the problem

Dead access point, cable in the wall, machine that will not power on, closet that smells like a power supply. That is a visit.

Core counties: Johnson, Floyd, Pike, Magoffin, Martin, Lawrence. Same-day when we can. After-hours on a business plan.

Paint Creek Technologies is based in Paintsville and serves Eastern Kentucky on-site. Request an estimate.

Questions we get

Do I have to leave the PC?
No. That is the point. Remote or we come to you.
What if I am in Louisa?
Same model. Remote first. Drive when the job is physical. Travel outside the core counties is quoted.

Homes, farms, clinics, churches, and shops. Remote if it is faster. In the driveway if it is not.
